Pixis shouts over to Chorda, "Did that work?" He moves under the open canopy pulling out his comlink, "Jax? Are you up there buddy?" and under his breath he mutters, "I hope you're up there"

Whipping his datapad back and yanking on the link cable to recoil into his pack, "Err... Yes. No. Nchtha zno ta. Sure." Turning on his heals and starting to walk briskly "We should hurry."

Daydream flicks her brunette hair out of her face and ties it into a quick pony tail.
"Right, no ship, no getaway. We give it 1 sec and if there's no ship in front of us we book it." She glances at her blaster pistol, "Let's try not to kill anyone this time, no need to make the situation any worst than it is now."

Correct. You plug into the control panel and start typing furiously on your datapad to gain access to the system. Without the luxury of time, you try a brute force hack to find the administrator password. The screen flashes "Authorization attempts exceeded. System lockout." in red. You definitely weren't able to seal the door, but the system lockout might buy you a few seconds. (Advantages can add boost die to check that follow when it makes sense) I should've mentioned, if it counts, that Computer checks take me 50% less time. Sorry, I'll make sure to include all this in a single post next time; I took a lot of talents... Good to know, but in this case you didn't succeed so I added the time pressure as flavor text (so savory).

It certainly isn't standard operating procedure to go silent, so that rubs you the wrong way. The fact that he was getting chummy with a fixer you picked up a few jobs ago ain't helping that feeling.

"Right, let's make like Dog's credit account and make ourselves scarce. Split up, stay off the radar and meet up at that dive canteena we saw ASAP". Daydream dashes away.

Chorda gives a nod to Daydream, then copies the motion to Pixis and Dog before pulling down the brim of his sun hat, hiking up his jacket over his shoulders, and hustling off in the opposite direction of his pilot-if-they-had-a-ship.

"Shit!" Pixis gives one last annoyed look at where the ship should have been and takes off.

I'll give it until tomorrow morning to see if anyone wants to not just cheese it and meet back at the cantina.

Brusque feels like they've missed something. He wants to see what he can find, especially if it's worth some credits. I'll give it until tomorrow morning to see if anyone wants to not just cheese it and meet back at the cantina.

You are now in an alley with the door closed. You could do a Perception check if you like.

Can I check to see where my best bet is to possibly find Jax? He could be in trouble. Brusque says to himself, "Giving up on him so easily are we?" Perception check: The dice rolled: 2 successes, 1 advantage, 2 failures End result: 1 advantage Brusque feels like they've missed something. Brusque feels like they've missed something. He wants to see what he can find, especially if it's worth some credits. Glancing over his shoulder to make sure the door is still closed, Chorda sees Brusque still standing there in contemplation. He turns to keep walking, then stops and looks back again. Under his breath he exclaims "Nok" before whispering loudly enough to be heard, "Broo, that door won't stay closed. Hurry with the walking unless you want to kill a trooper."

Brusque doesn't look in Chorda's direction but speaks in his direction, "Chorda, for having such a big bounty on your head, I'm surprised you'd stick around. As foolish as you may be for doing so..." He continues to look around quickly. Brusque feels like they've missed something. He wants to see what he can find, especially if it's worth some credits.
