Sure it can be. The alt game I'm in with The Dragon Fisters is more of an rp focused game. Combat isn't emphasized and some nights we may not even roll dice. I'm just trying to get a feeling of how to stat up my guy. View AttachmentHere he is, just give him the once over But we sure as hell rock!

Wanna triple that obligation and spend the points on something? Let's get classic and owe something to a hutt.
Unless someone else had already got that story?
I'm a call him daydream cause that's the name of the island I'm about to board a transport to.

Just a note on rolling checks (house rule not standard rulebook):
I’m going to do this differently to speed things along and also to stop every check from succeeding based on sheer probability. Only ONE character can make a given skill check unless otherwise stated (typically the exceptions are combat and situations that clearly require individual checks to avoid danger like scaling a sheer cliff or jumping over a ravine). Knowledge checks, checks to force open a door, slicing checks, etc. will be based on one roll by whoever you choose. In some cases, I will consider adding a Boost Die to a roll if it makes sense that someone could assist another person.
Questions?

Actually do the same thing at my table; either the first person to say something, or someone by group consensus if it's not something incredibly time sensitive, makes the check. Then (thank you Mouse Guard) one person can assist using a different skill to add a bonus.

Question: only because this is my first actual PbP, how should we discuss checks as a group? Is there some special punctuation or marker we should use? Is open discussion OK?

Sorry, I haven't made my character yet because of this damn chest cold. I'll participate via conversation until I get that finished either tomorrow or Saturday.
